L.A. Mood is proud to announce all the details for the upcoming National Qualifier Tournament!

Hello, Magic players of all of London! As you've likely heard by now, L.A. Mood has been selected to hand out to one lucky player a personal invitation to compete in the Canadian National Magic Championships!

So, how are we to decide on which player to send to this prestigious event? With a gentlemanly Standard Tournament, of course! Our National Qualifier Tournament is being held on Saturday, April 23rd. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 10:45 a.m., with the tournament beginning strictly at 11:00 a.m.

The Main Event!

Entry into our Tournament is a $10 fee, payable at the door. This $10 fee included both the cost of entry and a free lunch voucher for Los Comales, good for one Burrito or Chimichanga and a side of fries.

All players will be required to submit the following to the tournament organizer (myself) at time of entry:

- One (1) complete, legibly written or typed decklist detailing the exact name and number of each of the cards in your deck and sideboard, which must each be 60 and 15 cards, respectively.

Failure to submit a decklist may result in your expulsion from the tournament.

Important! This tournament is 32K and run at a Competitive REL. This means that the rules of Magic will be strictly enforced, including the time limit of 50 minutes per round!

The tournament is Swiss Rounds, like a Standard FNM, with Top 4 or Top 8 playoffs depending on attendance. Playoffs have no time limit but players are expected to maintain a reasonable pace of play.

In addition to the National Invition, Top 8 or Top 16 finishers (depending on attendance) will be eligible for additional prizes!

Side Events!

So long as store product supplies and interest exists, Side Events will be run throughout the day. These Side Events will consist of:

1) 8-man Standard Single-Elimination Win-A-Box.

2) 8-man MBS/SOM/SOM Draft Single-Elimination tournaments with 8-4 draft payout.

All Side event entry fees are $15. Sealed product and lands are provided for Draft side events. Side Events will begin as soon as table space has been secured for the expected duration of the event.
